? Learn magic tricks from acclaimed Charlestown magician JD, left. The one-hour workshop is for school children aged 6+ and starts at 10.30am at Hamilton Library. Workshops are taking place as part of the school holidays. Bookings essential phone 4974 5300. Cost is $5.

? Allan Caswell and Cathy Carr perform in the Star Lounge at Belmont 16 Footers from 11am. Caswell has won many of the coveted Golden Guitar awards over the years.

? Pat a koala today. Koala encounters are being held at 2pm at Blackbutt Reserve, New Lambton, these school holidays.
